Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups puffed brown rice cereal
- ½ cup SKIPPY® Natural Peanut Butter Spread
- ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon coconut oil, divided
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Directions
- Lightly grease 8×8-inch pan.
- In large bowl, place puffed brown rice cereal.
- In small saucepan, heat peanut butter, maple syrup, 2 tablespoons coconut oil and salt. Bring mixture to a boil whisking frequently.
- Pour over cereal, stirring until well coated. Immediately transfer to prepared pan. Press lightly with a greased rubber spatula. Let stand 1 hour.
- In small microwave safe bowl, heat chocolate chips and remaining 1 teaspoon coconut oil on HIGH 30-45 seconds, or until melted and smooth. Spread over bars. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
- Cut into 16 squares.
