Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 72 chocolate candies, unwrapped
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- In medium bowl, combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well.
- In large bowl, beat together peanut butter and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
- Beat in granulated and brown sugars, eggs and vanilla until blended. Beat in flour mixture just until blended.
- On ungreased baking sheets, drop dough by level tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart.
- Bake 13 minutes or until golden. Immediately press chocolate firmly in center of each cookie.
- Remove cookies to wire rack to cool completely.
