Ingredients
Spicy Peanut Sauce
- 3 tablespoons SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter Spread No Sugar Added
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
- 1 tablespoon chili oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ¼ cup hot water
Wonton Filling
- ½ pound ground pork
- ½ pound shrimp, finely chopped
- 3 scallions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- ½- inch piece fresh ginger, chopped
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- ½ tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon white pepper
- Wonton wrappers
- Suggested garnish: Sliced green onions, chili oil and chili flakes
Directions
- In small bowl, whisk together Spicy Peanut Sauce ingredients. Set aside.
- In large bowl, combine Wonton Filling ingredients. Mix in one direction until the filling is combined and streaks appear along the edge of the bowl.
- Place a ½ tablespoon of filling in the center of wonton wrapper. Wet two adjacent sides of wrapper with water, then fold over into a triangle and seal, making sure all air escapes from the inside of the wrapper. Wet the two long corners of wonton and connect them together to form a tortellini shape.
- Bring water to a simmer in a large saucepan. Cook wontons 3 to 4 minutes or until they float.
- Serve wontons with Spicy Peanut Sauce and suggested garnish.
